Endoscopic procedures that improve your quality of life. Without any surgery!
gastric balloon
A balloon filled with fluid is inserted into the stomach using an endoscope and makes you feel full more quickly. This allows you to lose weight without surgery. The balloon usually remains in the body for 6 to 12 months and is then removed—ideal for a gentle start to a lighter life.
Stomach reduction without surgery
In endoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (ESG), the stomach is reduced in size using internal sutures—without any incisions or visible scars. The procedure is reversible and significantly reduces the amount of food that can be consumed. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis or with a short inpatient stay.
combination therapy
Selected prescription medications help regulate hunger and reduce weight. As part of a comprehensive treatment plan, we combine them with nutrition, exercise, and endobariatric procedures—tailored to your personal goals and circumstances.
Weight gain after bariatric surgery
Endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESGP) is a gentle procedure in which the stomach is reduced in size once again. It is used when the effects of a previous stomach reduction operation wear off, for example in the case of stomach dilation. ESGP can be used to reduce the stomach volume again in order to support the original treatment outcome.

Knowledge empowers: Reliable information about endobariatric surgery.
Who is endobariatric treatment suitable for?
Endobariatric procedures are suitable for patients who are overweight or obese, who have been unable to lose sufficient weight despite dietary changes and exercise, and who are looking for a gentle, non-surgical alternative.
How does a gastric balloon work?
A soft silicone balloon is inserted into the stomach using an endoscope and filled with fluid. It reduces the volume of the stomach and makes you feel full more quickly.
What is endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG)?
In ESG, the stomach is reduced in size using endoscopically placed sutures. This creates a tube-shaped form ("sleeve") that holds less food and increases the feeling of satiety.
What are the advantages of endobariatric treatment over surgery?
The procedures are minimally invasive, leave no external scars, and have a lower risk and shorter recovery time than surgical procedures.
How much weight can you lose?
Weight loss varies depending on the method, initial weight, and patient cooperation. Studies show that ESG results in an average reduction of approximately 15–20% of body weight in the first year.
Will the effect be permanent?
Success depends heavily on long-term changes to diet and lifestyle. With good aftercare, the results achieved can remain stable. If necessary, follow-up treatments are also possible to tighten the tissue and restore the original effect.
Does health insurance cover the costs?
The costs of a consultation are covered by statutory health insurance. However, the costs of endobariatric surgery are not usually covered. Coverage is usually only possible on a case-by-case basis or with private insurance.
